NLU Sonepat Spearheads Cutting-Edge Initiatives In Conflict Management And Dispute Resolution

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonepat, is enhancing the landscape of legal education with the establishment of The Centre for Conflict Management and Dispute Resolution. Opening the dialogue at the recent seminar, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Archana Mishra remarked on the significance of the new Centre, "The establishment of the Centre is a testament to our dedication to creating a future where legal professionals are not only well-versed in the law but are also equipped with the necessary skills to manage and resolve disputes constructively," she stated, emphasizing the university's commitment to innovative legal resolution strategies. The seminar also featured a distinguished panel of guests: Mr. Anubhav Sharma, Judicial Member of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal; Mr. Nikhil Chopra, Coordinator of the Delhi International Arbitration Centre; Mr. Dharmendra Rana, Registrar General of the Armed Forces Tribunal; and Dr. Jwala Prasad, Director of Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti at the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The seminar's success was further accentuated by Prof. Ashutosh Mishra, Dean Academic Affairs and Director of the Centre for Conflict Management and Dispute Resolution, who commended his team for organizing over ten insightful lectures in a short span and announced the introduction of new courses and the launch of the university's journal, marking significant academic advancements.
