In yet another case of online scam, an 80-year-old man from Udupi lost over Rs 3 lakh while attempting to withdraw money from his savings account. According to a report by The Hindu, the victim, a resident of Brahmavar in Udupi district, wanted to withdraw Rs 5 lakh from his savings account at a Canara Bank branch.
