Raducanu turns to Andy Murray's fitness guru: Emma hires Jez Green to make her a machine

Emma Raducanu has turned to the fitness trainer who helped transform Andy Murray from slender teenager into uber athlete. The arrival of 50-year-old Green could well have a more lasting impact, as Raducanu’s body has proved a major impediment when it comes to backing up her extraordinary summer of 2021. Emma Raducanu has to find a new coach after Dmitry Tursunov decided to walk away from her Green’s eye for detail and easygoing manner saw him go on to work with the likes of Alexander Zverev and another US Open champion, Dominic Thiem. Jez Green will help Raducanu's fitness, after a season blighted by her four match retirements Raducanu is currently using Andy Murray's former fitness trainer to get herself back in shape Recently, he explained his guiding principles to the Control the Controllables podcast. Raducanu’s regular tour season is over but she intends to play for GB in Glasgow next month at the 12-nation finals of the Billie Jean King Cup.
