Russia decorates PM Modi with its highest state honour, Order of St Andrew the Apostle
Op IndiaRussia has awarded Prime Minister Narendra Modi the Order of St Andrew the Apostle, the highest order of the Russian Federation. Recently, The United Arab Emirates had awarded Prime Minister Modi with the highest civilian honour ‘Zayed Medal’ for boosting the relations between India and the Emirates. Recently, The United Nations awarded Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emanuel Macron with 2018 ‘Champions of the Earth Awards’. PM Narendra Modi was bestowed with this honour for his sustainable development initiatives and “unprecedented pledge to eliminate all single-use plastic in India by 2022.” PM Modi has also received the Amir Abdullah Khan award, the highest civilian honour of Afghanistan and the King Abdullaziz Sash award, the highest civilian decoration of Saudi Arabia in 2016.
