Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police on Wednesday arrested a person for his alleged involvement in a chain snatching that took place in Kukatpally police station limits a few days ago. Kukatpally Assistant Commissioner of Police, K Srinivasa Rao said that Sai Ram came to Hyderabad a month ago in search of a job and was staying at a hostel in Kukatpally Housing Board. On January 3 at 12.30 pm, he had stolen a bike near a hospital at Kukatpally and the next day he observed a woman proceeding towards Vivekanandanagar Colony in Kukatpally alone to attend her duty. The police identified the accused after examining footage collected from 180 surveillance cameras in Kukatpally and its surroundings.
