Western Australia's only potato chip producer says a shortage of hot chips could be looming due to the exploding cost of growing potatoes. "What's happened with the cost of freight across the Nullarbor is that people who would not normally have rung our telephone number were now asking us to supply the market," Mr Piesse said.
