The HinduNATIONAL poet Subramanya Bharathis great dream appears to have become real, thanks to the efforts of several reputed educational institutions, including the Annamalai University. His son and second Founder Pro-Chancellor Dr. Rajah Sir Muthiah Chettiar, during his tenure from 1948 to 1984, assiduously nurtured the growth and development of the university and devoted himself to the realisation of the aims of his noble father, he says.
