Second food poisoning incident at Maganoor school in a month

Hyderabad: In a second case of food poisoning at the Maganoor Zilla Parishad High School this month, 27 students fell ill on Tuesday after consuming mid-day meals. The incident comes just after Wankidi mandal tribal school C. Shailaja succumbed on Monday, following complications after she suffered food poisoning at her school hostel last month. The Narayanpet district medical and health officer confirmed that 27 students were admitted to the hospital, and 26 of them were in stable condition. BRS senior leader T. Harish Rao, in a post on ‘X’ strongly criticised the government for the incident and called for strict action against those responsible for providing adulterated food.
