Two Spacewalks by Shenzhou Astronauts Set New Record

Two spacewalks by Shenzhou astronauts set new records. The Shenzhou XVIII mission conducted its first spacewalk outside the Tiangong space station on May 28, with Ye and Li Guangsu spending 8.5 hours completing multiple tasks. The third crew member, Li Cong, stayed inside the Tiangong to provide support. The mission also completed its 16th extravehicular activity by Chinese astronauts on July 3, lasting about 6.5 hours.
