3 UP technical universities to turn into innovation hubs, foster startups

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has tasked three technical universities in the state to become hubs for innovation and startup support. The Chief Minister emphasised setting up innovation centres in the universities to align with global market trends and emerging technologies. “Innovation must keep pace with changing technology and global market trends,” he said, adding that empowering students through university channels could lead to breakthroughs and bolster the state’s reputation nationally and internationally. MODERNISING TRADES AND BOOSTING STARTUPS The Chief Minister urged universities to develop trades based on global market mapping while modernising traditional trades to meet contemporary demands.
