Read our privacy policy Spectacular photographs showing intricate patterns made by melting ice and glacial rivers wending through lush green hills in Iceland and Greenland have been captured from the air. Rugged mountains and dramatic volcanoes were also among the scenery captured by photographer Ben Simon Rehn from inside a small aeroplane. Mr Rehn, a German freelance photographer from Bremen who currently lives and works in Iceland, said he finds places to shoot by flying overhead and then letting the pilot know, so they can loop back around.
