Jupiter is in stormy weather. They are big enough to swallow Earth

The Hubble Space Telescope has looked at Jupiter and the pictures reveal a world battered by some of the most powerful storms. The spacecraft captured the Great Red Spot, a perpetual storm, that is so big it could swallow Earth, and the Red Spot Jr, a feature at a more southerly latitude on the planet. Nasa's Hubble Space Telescope imaged both sides of the giant planet, Jupiter, on January 5-6, 2024. The Hubble Space Telescope images were then used to create the animated science visualisation, which shows the full rotation of the giant planet Jupiter. The planet's real rotation rate is nearly 10 hours, which is easily plotted by watching the Great Red Spot come and go with each completed rotation.
