IPL 2023: MI need Tim David, Cameron Green to fill in shoes of Kieron Pollard and Hardik, says Harbhajan Singh
India TodayFormer India spinner Harbhajan Singh believes Tim David and Cameron Green will have to fill the void left by Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya for Mumbai Indians in the upcoming Indian Premier League. Pollard, who has been with MI since the beginning of his IPL career, announced his retirement last year but remains part of the franchise as its batting coach, whereas Pandya was named captain of Gujarat Titans ahead of IPL 2022. As a result, Harbhajan, who has worked with MI for several seasons, has chosen Tim David and Cameron Green to fill the roles that Pollard and Pandya have held for so long. Stressing the fact that a positive start to the tournament is paramount for success, Harbhajan told Star Sports: "Well, they will be successful if Tim David can do the same thing that Pollard was doing and whether Green can do what Hardik was doing.
