Twitter rolling out edit button but only for some users
The Twitter edit button has been under development for quite some time now. As per the tipster, the microblogging platform is rolling out a new abusive language filter, which allows users to edit offensive tweets instead of deleting them. So, the moment a Twitter user tries to post a tweet with an offensive remark, the platform will show a pop-up showing three options edit tweets, delete tweets, and just post the tweet. In addition to the edit button, Twitter is also reportedly rolling out a like or dislike option in the notifications panel. It is possible that the edit tweets option may be available for all once Musk officially becomes Twitter boss, which is likely to happen later this year.
