Jio GigaFiber is still fastest network for streaming Netflix but overall speed is declining

There's a lot of hype surrounding the upcoming Jio GigaFiber broadband service from Reliance. Noted by Telecom Talk, GigaFiber managed to stay on top with an average monthly speed of 3.49 Mbps, which is marginally higher Spectranet's 3.43 Mbps average speeds. In March, Jio GigaFiber was leading with average speeds of 3.57Mbps, which itself was lower than the previous month. One can enrol for the GigaFiber Preview offer where the user only needs to pay a security deposit of Rs 4,500 and gain free access to the broadband Internet until the commercial launch happens. Rival and another popular broadband operator Airtel sits at the fourth spot with an average monthly speed of 3.29 Mbps, which is also lower than previous month's 3.31 Mbps.
