Sr. Women's C'hips: Sandhiya leads TN’s charge to quarters

On a day when Telangana lived up to the expectations -- conceding at least 20 goals per game -- Tamil Nadu, too, kept up with topped the group to move into the quarterfinals of the National senior women's football championship on Friday. Tamil Nadu blanked Punjab 6-0 to take its tally to seven points in Group H. Once again it was Sandhiya who led the charge; she netted three more to take her tally to 12 goals from just three matches. In Bengal's 20-0 rout of Telangana, Huidrom Ranjita Devi netted nine goals.
