Nayab Saini, ML Khattar's convoy forced to wait for 15 minutes in Chandigarh

A convoy of Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini was forced to wait on the road for around 15 minutes in an alleged security breach incident in Chadigarh on Wednesday night. A gate linking the main road to Haryana Niwas and Punjab Bhavan was found locked, preventing the convoy from proceeding further. Nayab Singh Saini and Manohar Lal Khattar were returning from a wedding ceremony in Chandigarh when the incident took place, sources added. During the return journey, Saini and Khattar were in the same vehicle, with the Haryana Chief Minister planning to drop the Union Minister at Haryana Niwas.
