Saints to hire Eagles QB coach Doug Nussmeier as OC: Reports

The New Orleans Saints are adding another member of the Super Bowl champion Eagles to Kellen Moore’s staff, with Philadelphia quarterback coach Doug Nussmeier coming on board as the offensive coordinator, according to multiple reports. Nussmeier was retained by Mike McCarthy in 2020 amid the head coaching transition and was promoted to quarterbacks coach under offensive coordinator Moore. When Moore left in 2023 for the Los Angeles Chargers offensive coordinator position, Nussmeier followed as the Chargers quarterbacks coach. After Moore was promoted to offensive coordinator, Nussmeier became the team’s quarterbacks coach.
