Ms Percy developed diabetic ketoacidosis or DKA, which happens when the body does not receive enough insulin for energy.She was hospitalised and claims she 'almost lost her life' On average, the warehouse worker injects herself with insulin five times a day since she was diagnosed with diabetes in 2021 She said: 'The fact it got so bad and I almost lost my life, I know how important it is.
