Wild moment car ploughs through front yard in Opotiki and rams cars as locals seek refuge in a nearby New Zealand pub
Daily MailShocking footage has emerged of an SUV smashing into a parked car before it rammed another vehicle off the road, sending onlookers fleeing. The video was taken at the intersection of Church Street and Kelly Street in Opotiki, on the north coast of New Zealand's North Island, just after 11pm on Friday. A group of onlookers standing outside the pub were seen running for their lives as the car continued to drive erratically along Kelly Street. Despite the scene unfolding in front of them, the officers then passed between the car and it's detached bumper and continued along Kelly Street. Police are searching for the occupants of a vehicle that rammed a red sports car and sent onlookers running for their lives outside a pub in the New Zealand town of Opotiki The car was briefly stopped by one brave onlooker before fled the scene to abandon the car and disapearing A Hato Hone St John Ambulance spokesperson said they were notified of the incident but their 'assistance was not required'.
