Odisha govt orders shutdown of schools, colleges from Jan 10: Check list of new guidelines
The Odisha government has ordered a shutdown of all schools, colleges and technical educational institutions other than medical colleges and nursing colleges from January 10 in view of the rising Covid-19 cases. "The Authorities of Colleges/ Universities/ Technical Educational Institutions shall take all appropriate measures for conducting classes through online/ virtual/ video/ other alternative methods of learning mode,” read the notification. - The Authorities of Colleges/ Universities/ Technical Educational Institutions shall take all appropriate measures to conduct classes through online/ virtual/ video/ other alternative methods of learning mode. Teaching and non-teaching employees of Colleges/ Universities / Technical Educational Institutions shall work as per prevailing guidelines for government servants and perform duty such as taking online classes/ academic/ semi academic and administrative functions etc.
