Texas lands 5-star DL Justus Terry, wraps up No. 1 recruiting class in 2025 cycle

So much for the clean sweep. Georgia’s push to sign all five of the five-star recruits in its own state fell short when Justus Terry, a defensive lineman from Manchester High School, committed to Texas on Friday afternoon. Texas has finished in the top three of the national rankings on five occasions dating back to 2010 — most recently in 2023 — but hasn’t had the No. He was considered a strong Georgia lean over the past few months but took trips to Alabama, Texas and Auburn before making his final decision on Friday.
