Delhi's Air Quality: A Silent Threat to Skin Health

Hindustan Times

Delhi's air quality has reached 300, posing health concerns. The second stage of the GRAP (Graded Response Action Plan) has been implemented in the Capital, banning the use of coal and firewood. Experts warn that exposure to air pollution can wreak havoc on the skin, leading to dryness, irritation, premature wrinkles, fine lines, and increased pigmentation. To protect the skin, one should use a gentle cleanser, a hydrating moisturizer, and a broad-spectrum sunscreen with high SPF daily. Additionally, drinking plenty of water, eating a healthy diet, and avoiding excessive exposure to pollution are recommended.
