Allow India to export foodgrains from public stock to needy nations: FM Nirmala Sitharaman to World Trade Organization
The HinduFinance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on July 15 asked World Trade Organization to allow India to export foodgrains from its public stockholding to nations which are facing food crisis. Ms. Sitharaman also shared India's experience, including robust gains in agriculture production, citizen-centric food security programmes and innovative delivery mechanisms such as landmark plan of 'One Nation One Ration Card' scheme.
