One drowns at Rushikonda beach, another goes missing

A pleasure trip to the Rushikonda beach ended in a tragedy for a group of final year LLB students of NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. They went to the beach at around 5.30 p.m. Three of them, including a girl, started swimming in the water, reportedly ignoring the warning of fishermen. Another youth Tej Kumar went missing and his body couldn’t be traced till late in the evening. Anil Kumar and Tej Kumar were natives of Kalyandurg and Rayadurg of Anantapur district, according to PM Palem Inspector K. Venkata Rao.
