Two men accused of sexually assaulting a woman at knifepoint in Tamil Nadu have been arrested. The incident occurred on February 16 when the suspects, Mariappan and V Mariselvam, allegedly broke into the woman's home in Veeravanchi nagar of Kovilpatti, threatened her infant with a knife, and assaulted her. The woman's husband, a daily wager in Kerala, returned home after her neighbours became concerned about her health as there was a change in her behaviour since February 16. A 27- year old woman who arrived in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu, along with her husband and three-year-old child in search of work was sexually assaulted by three men from Bihar.
