Mr Proctor, who was falsely accused by fantasist Carl Beech, walked out of an interview with BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty after complaining he had not been allowed to speak. A probe by former High Court judge Sir Richard Henriques said the failed £4.5m Operation Midland probe resulted in search warrants for innocent suspects - including Mr Proctor - being “obtained unlawfully”. Mr Proctor then clashed with Ms Munchetty after he said Metropolitan Police Commissioner Cressida Dick should be brought onto the programme to debate the force's handling of the case.
