Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi walks out of Assembly without reading customary address

Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. The Raj Bhavan later said the Governor had left the House “in deep anguish” as the “Constitution of Bharat” and the national anthem were once again “insulted” in the Assembly. In a social media post, he said while it was part of the tradition for the Governor to deliver his customary address, it has “become the habit of the Governor” to violate the practice. Not to be a party to such brazen disrespect to the Constitution and the National Anthem, Governor in deep anguish left the House,” the Raj Bhavan claimed in a social media post. Customary practice Since July 1991, as per the convention in the Tamil Nadu Assembly, the State song is played at the beginning and the national anthem at the conclusion of the Governor’s address.
