Woman posing as judge dupes job aspirants in Chennai
The HinduThe Job Racket Investigation Wing of the Central Crime Branch has arrested a couple on charges of cheating a job aspirant in Chennai. One of the suspects, Radhika, 39, allegedly posed as a Madras High Court judge and falsely promised the aspirant that she would get him an office assistant job in exchange for more than ₹20 lakh. In 2022, Ganapathy reportedly told Rajesh he got married to Radhika, who, he claimed, was a practicing advocate appointed as a judge in the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court. He also claimed she would soon be posted in the Madras High Court, Chennai, and would require a trustworthy person as an office assistant. Radhika had allegedly received ₹8 lakh from two persons — P. Suresh and his brother Vijayan — on the fake promise that she would get them office assistant jobs in the Thiruvottiyur court.
