Shortly after her arrival, social media users began pointing out the resemblance between Ms Trump’s dress and a green screen, a visual effects tool that can be used to superimpose videos and images. The dress was also edited to reflect another of Ms Trump’s questionable fashion choices, a jacket that she wore to visit children at a border detention centre that read: “I really don’t care do u?” "Melania Trump couldn't decide which dress to wear so she wore a green screen to let Twitter choose for her," one person tweeted. "If Melania knew how many people are going to take advantage of that green screen-coloured dress, she would have worn something else," one person wrote, attaching a photo of the Queen in a green outfit of the same colour, and an edit showing the monarch dressed in a suit made of pizza.
