India's Got Latent row: Samay Raina asked to appear for questioning within 4 days
The controversy surrounding the YouTube show "India's Got Latent" is showing no signs of settling down, as popular stand-up comedian Samay Raina has now been summoned by Maharashtra Cyber Department and Mumbai Police to appear before them within five days in connection with the obscene remarks made by influencer Ranveer Allahbadia on the show. A nationwide controversy erupted after Ranveer Allahbadia, who appeared in the latest episode of India's Got Latent, asked a contestant an outrageous question: "Would you watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life, or would you join in once and stop it forever?" An Assam Police team, which is in Mumbai in connection with the investigation in the case, is going to Pune to serve notice to Samay Raina at his home in Balewadi area. Assam Police has issued summons to YouTubers Ranveer Allahbadia and Ashish Chanchlani in connection with the case and notices will also be served to other comedians and influencers, including Jaspreet Singh, Apoorva Makhija and Samay Raina.
