The Google company has initiated the dark mode theme for iOS users on Google maps. Google maps have the light mode by default, but the dark mode can be enabled manually as it helps in saving the battery life of smartphones. Google maps has the feature of sharing the live location using the iMessage app in August 2021. iOS users can tap on the real-time locations on the Google maps button in iMessage and this option has a sharing option for an hour by default with an extension of up to three days.
