Here are others who have resigned over various allegations: 2021: Former Karnataka minister Ramesh Jarkiholi tendered his resignation as the Water Resources Minister in the then BS Yediyurappa-led BJP government after charges of sexual harassment were brought against him. 2016: In 2016, Karnataka Excise Minister H Y Meti resigned from Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s cabinet after a video clip, purportedly of the minister with a woman who approached him for an official favour, emerged. 2013: Due to pressure over allegations of illegal mining, Karnataka minister of state for information and infrastructure development Santosh Lad resigned from Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s Cabinet.
