Chase Customers Face Huge Debt After Viral Check Fraud Scheme

Chase Bank is suing four customers who allegedly owe the bank nearly $662,000 in fraudulent check withdrawals. The bank claims that the defendants violated their deposit agreement by withdrawing more than the usual amount of their checks before they cleared. The defendants have so far failed to pay the alleged overdraft amount and legal fees, which Chase is demanding they cover. The bank is also pursuing legal action against other individuals and entities they believe may have been involved in the scheme.
