‘Appu’: Puneeth Rajkumar’s debut film to re-release on actor’s 50th birth anniversary

Appu, the debut film of Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar, is set for a re-release. The 2002 blockbuster film will release as a part of Puneeth’s 50th birth anniversary celebrations. Directed by ace Telugu filmmaker Puri Jagannath, Appu was produced by Puneeth Rajkumar’s mother and veteran producer Parvathamma Rajkumar under the banner Poornima Enterprises. Puneeth Rajkumar’s 50th birth anniversary falls on March 17, 2025.
