Accused in rape cases should not get bail: Sister of Hyderabad rape victim

The sister of Telangana veterinarian who was gang-raped and murdered near Hyderabad has demanded that law should be amended to ensure that accused in rape cases do not get bail, reports ANI. This comment by the Hyderabad victim’s sister comes after a spate of incidents where out-on-bail rape accused have gone after their victims. “Laws should be amended so that accused don’t get bail in such cases,” she said speaking to ANI while demanding speedy justice. Earlier, reacting to the news of the death of the four accused in a police encounter, the Hyderabad’s vet’s father had welcomed the decision on Friday and admitted he had never expected that justice would be delivered to his daughter so fast.
