West Ham agrees deals for Maguire and Ward-Prowse, say reports
The HinduWest Ham United has agreed a deal in principle with Premier League rivals Manchester United for England defender Harry Maguire, media reported on Wednesday. Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag last month stripped Maguire of the captaincy after the 30-year-old made only eight Premier League starts last season, spending much of the time on the bench or injured. West Ham was also reported to have a deal agreed with Ajax over the transfer of Mexican midfielder Edson Alvarez for a fee of 35 million pounds, but the deal has not been confirmed as yet.
