N Chandrababu Naidu rules out any chance of Third Front
Deccan ChronicleVijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said that his Telangana state counterpart K. Chandrasekhar Rao had provoked sentiments due to which the Congress-led Mahakutami had lost in the just-concluded Telangana state elections. Mr Naidu said that efforts for a Third or Federal Front are to benefit Prime Minister Narendra Modi indirectly in the future. Talking to TD leaders in a teleconference, on Wednesday, Mr Naidu said that former Congress president Sonia Gandhi had promised special category status to Andhra Pradesh if voted to power in 2019 in the Medchal meeting and Mr Rao had used it to invoke sentiment. The Chief Minister also said that people in Andhra Pradesh were happy and satisfied with the TD government and should also ensure that they are happy with the party.
