Home minister offers to resign to spend time with his voters of Koratagere

BENGALURU: Not able to find enough time to interact and mingle with party men of his Assembly seat, Koratagere, Minister of Home Dr G. Parameshwar offered to resign from the post of Minister to spend time with people of the Assembly seat and in response to the Minister’s statement his followers wanted him to continue as the Minister of Home. In the meantime, a person in the audience stated “You should become Chief Minister.” A video clip of the Home Minister, said to be a couple of days old, speaking at a party workers' meeting in Koratagere was circulated in public on Sunday. Now, it has become difficult for me to engage with the people of the constituency like earlier when I was an MLA.” Parameshwar said “Now I am a Minister and you people would be a little disappointed that I could not speak to or visit the panchayat office. But I'm a Minister not just an MLA.” The Home Minister recalled his defeat in previous Assembly elections and stated “I am aware of how you have turned against me.”
