50-bed facility, mobile evacuation team: Army's preparations for Maha Kumbh 2025

The Indian Army has established a comprehensive medical assistance system for prompt healthcare services for pilgrims who will participate in the Maha Kumbh Mela in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj slated to be held next year. 3. Specialised medical assistance: The Army's expert doctors have been assisting the civil administration in managing infectious diseases and ensuring effective control and management of health issues during the Kumbh Mela. 4. Mobile evacuation team at Ordnance Depot Fort: A round-the-clock mobile evacuation team has been stationed at OD Fort, equipped with five beds, including two ventilator-equipped beds. 5. Medical assistance post at Mela Ground: A fully equipped Class-1 Medical Assistance Post has been established at the Mela ground to provide on-site medical support to the pilgrims.
