Offensive posts against national leaders on social media to be regulated
Deccan ChronicleKalaburagi: Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Information Technology and Biotechnology Priyank Kharge has affirmed government's commitment to regulate offensive posts against national leaders and derogatory remarks on social media. Kharge, who is also the Kalaburagi district in-charge minister, spoke to reporters during the launch of the "Shakti" scheme at Kalaburagi on Sunday. He expressed concern over the misuse of social media platforms, which he observed as a disturbance to societal well-being. "Such posts circulating on social media platforms would be regulated in compliance with the Supreme Court's verdict.
