Comedian Yash Rathi reacts to FIR filed after videos of his IIT Bhilai show went viral
India TodayStand-up comedian Yash Rathi has reacted to an FIR that was lodged against him for allegedly using “obscene” language after videos of his performance at the annual fest of the Indian Institute of Technology, Bhilai on November 15 went viral on social media. My team clearly tells the organisers about the type of content and language that I use,” he said, adding, “If the other party is not okay with it, we both happily decline the show.” He further said, “This was the first college show that agreed to the terms of my show and that's the only reason I performed there. I am of the belief to not waste anyone's time and ruin the night for everyone that's why I make it very very clear about the content that I use,” Rathi said. I'll apologise purely out of guilt because I couldn't deliver the night the college was hoping for, but that's purely a miscommunication of content between the organiser and college,” he added.
