Apple working on a new iPad-like foldable device: Report

Apple reportedly will be releasing a large foldable iPad by around 2028. Mark Gurman revealed the news in yesterday’s Power On newsletter saying a leaked document describing Apple’s plans had been posted on X. There have been constant rumours including a report from The Wall Street Journal around Apple releasing a foldable iPad or MacBook as one of their first foldable devices. While Gurman has called the device iPad-like, the massive tablet could function either as a Mac or an iPad depending on the operating system Apple goes with. An internal display roadmap from Apple that was also leaked on X showed that the company had plans to release OLED MacBook Pros in 2026 and then a MacBook Air OLED updated model in 2027.
