
76 projects from A.P. selected for School Innovation Marathon
The HinduAs many 76 projects from Andhra Pradesh have been selected for School Innovation Marathon, a school-level innovation competition in India, which is being jointly organised by the Ministry of Education, Atal Innovation Mission set up by the NITI Aayog. Out of a total number of 61,027 students, who formed into 21,625 teams drawn from 5,443 schools and submitted 8,748 innovative ideas, the top 76 projects were selected. Samagra Shiksha State Project Director B. Srinivasa Rao congratulated the students and teachers who provided guidance to the participants and said such events help students hone their creative and innovative skills. The workshops and training sessions conducted for teachers and students, using the hub-and-spoke model were helpful in building scientific curiosity among students, he added.
