Zhang Boli: Young scientists should work to promote TCM globally

Zhang Boli, president of the Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a member of the Academic Advisory Committee of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, said that due to the effectiveness of TCM in treating COVID-19, it is gaining wider recognition globally. Zhang is also editor-in-chief of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, a journal focusing on the latest research and findings in the field of traditional medicine worldwide. Zhang said that he hoped young scientists on the committee would promote the healthy development of acupuncture and herbal medicine, and propose more cutting-edge projects and engage in greater communication with the global community in the future.
