The film features gripping performances from Aahana Kumra, Rahul Bose, Rajeev Khandelwal, Prakash Raj, Anant Mahadevan, and Priyamani, along with a guest appearance by Aamir Khan. Salaam Venky is inspired by the book “The Last Hurrah” by Shrikanth Murthy, which was based on the life of Kolavennu Venkatesh, a young chess player with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
