Ultra-modern trauma care centre to become operational at Korapad by Sept. 8: Komatireddy

Nalgonda: Minister for roads and buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Monday said that the trauma care centre that is being established at Korlapad on NH 65 would become functional by September 8. Laying its foundation stone, he said that the centre, coming up at a cost of Rs 5 Cr, would boast of the latest medical equipment and skilled medical staff. As fatal road accidents were increasing on NH 65, the trauma care centre will be a life saviour for the victims. As Hyderabad and Vijayawada are at a considerable distance, the trauma care centre between the two cities can help in bringing down the casualty rate in road mishaps on NH no 65.
