India's Aditya-L1 running as per schedule, to reach Lagrange Point 1 in first week of January

ISRO’s Aditya-L1 is just days away from reaching its destination at Lagrange Point 1, and shall arrive at its destination in the first week of January 2024. The satellite has travelled approximately 1.5 million km from Earth India’s pioneering solar observatory mission, Aditya-L1, is on the verge of reaching its destination at Lagrange Point 1 in the first week of January 2024, according to Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh. SUIT utilizes scientific filters to precisely capture distinct features of the Sun, including sunspots, plage, and serene regions, providing groundbreaking insights into the intricate dynamics of the magnetized solar atmosphere. The observations made by Aditya-L1 are expected to enhance our understanding of the dynamic interactions within the solar atmosphere and provide precise constraints on the influence of solar radiation on Earth’s climate.
