At least seven girls, who were allegedly witnesses in the Muzaffarpur shelter home case, have gone missing from a government-run shelter home in Patna's Mokama, triggering panic among the local administration. These girls were shifted to Mokama shelter last year after the horrific Muzaffarpur shelter home rape case came to light in an audit conducted by Tata Institute of Social Sciences. RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav on Saturday lashed out at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, saying that the "state government has become so useless that it was unable to protect state patronised mass rape victims".
