India TodayIn her first major media interaction afterassuming office, Delhi chief minister Rekha Gupta spoke on the priorities of her administration before confidently stating that her style of governance would be an absolute departure from that of her two predecessors, Aam Aadmi Party’s Arvind Kejriwal and Atishi. “You won’t need to leave Delhi this winter,” Gupta promised the audience, explaining her plans to tackle the air and water pollution simultaneously. The BJP leader told the audience: “In three years, you will join a cruise with us; and you will attend a live meeting about it.” In response to aquestion about the CM’s residencethe ‘sheesh mahal ’ as her party used to call it during Kejriwal’s reignGupta responded, “I won’t stay there at all.
